Alexis Janda Knott

Alexis "Lexy" Janda Knott is currently assisting with administrative needs for the Colonial Health Center integration efforts. Lexy served as the Associate Director of Health Promotion and Prevention Services from January 2012 to June 2017. Prior to her tenure at the George Washington University, Lexy was the Assistant Director for Programming and Coordinator of the Alcohol and Other Drug Education Program at the Lincoln Center Campus of Fordham University.
Lexy earned her masters degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Maryland in 2010. While completing her studies, she worked for the Department of Fraternity and Sorority Life as a Fraternity House Director and advised the Greek Judicial Boards. Lexy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Creighton University in 2005. During the Spring of 2016, Lexy participated in SAMHSA's Project LIFT: Behavioral Health Leadership Development Program. Lexy was recognized in April 2015 as GW's Inagural "2015 Student Employee Supervisor of the Year" and she was also awarded the "2015 Student Employment Supervisor of the Year" award by the Northeast Association of Student Employment Administrators.
