Dr. Catie Greene is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC).  Catie earned both a B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Community Mental Health Counseling at St. Bonaventure University prior to a doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision at The College of William & Mary.  Prior to joining the CHC, Catie has experience working with college students as a co-director of a substance use training clinic, as an academic counselor, and as a Staff Clinician at Old Dominion University’s counseling center. Catie’s clinical areas of interest include substance use concerns, body image/eating concerns, interpersonal concerns, student athlete concerns, group process/therapy, and helping students recognize the influence of societal issues of power, privilege, and marginalization that contribute to presenting concerns. Catie takes a collaborative approach to counseling informed by relational-cultural therapy and motivational interviewing.
