Catie Greene, Ph.D., LPC, NCC

Dr. Catie Greene is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the District of Columbia, and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) in the state of Virginia. She earned both her B.A. in Psychology and M.S. in Community Mental Health Counseling at St. Bonaventure University prior to her doctorate in Counselor Education & Supervision at The College of William & Mary. Prior to joining the CHC, Catie has experience working with college students as a co-director of a substance use training clinic, as an academic counselor, and as a Staff Clinician at Old Dominion University’s counseling center. Catie’s clinical areas of interest include substance use concerns, body image/eating concerns, interpersonal concerns, student athlete concerns, group process/therapy, and helping students recognize the influence of societal issues of power, privilege, and marginalization that contribute to presenting concerns. Catie takes a collaborative approach to counseling informed by relational-cultural therapy and motivational interviewing.
