Dr. Isabel Goldenberg is a licensed medical doctor in the District of Columbia. She has spent the majority of her professional career serving in college health. Dr. Goldenberg graduated from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine in Argentina, completed a pediatric residency, and moved to Washington, DC to participate in the Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine Fellowship at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center.

During her training, a rotation at the student health service at the George Washington University (GW) inspired her to dedicate her professional life to this field as a staff physician. She has served as Medical Director of the Colonial Health Center for the last 25 years. Under her leadership, the service has enjoyed a stable group of dedicated staff that provides over 20,0000 visits annually.

Dr. Goldenberg also holds an Associate Clinical Professor position at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

She oversees clinical services provided to GW students and provides direct medical care. Her academic activities include teaching to medical students and Fellows from Children’s Hospital Adolescent Medicine Program. Her areas of professional interest include: education and prevention of infectious diseases, women’s health, and dermatology. During her tenure at GW, she has participated in numerous wellness and health related committees.
