Sarah Harte, LICSW

Sarah Harte is a clinical social worker, licensed in the District of Columbia. She received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Northern Arizona University, her Master of Social Work from New York University (NYU), as well as a Certificate in Clinical Supervision, also from NYU. Prior to joining the team at the Colonial Health Center, Ms. Harte worked in college mental health at the University of Maryland, College Park and Barnard College in New York. During her time in New York, she was also an Adjunct Lecturer and Advisor at the Columbia University School of Social Work. With more than 15 years of social work experience, Ms. Harte has worked extensively with problematic substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. She frequently integrates mindfulness practice and cognitive behavioral techniques into her clinical work. At the Colonial Health Center she is responsible for coordination and development of the outreach and prevention programming for Mental Health Services.
