Trisha Nash, Ph.D.

Dr. Trisha Nash is a licensed psychologist in the District of Columbia, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Dr. Nash received her Bachelor of Science at Virginia Tech and pursued her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Radford University. She went on to receive her doctorate in Counseling Psychology at the University of Memphis. During her education and internship years, Dr. Nash was trained as a generalist, but took special interest in psychological assessment and sport psychology. She completed her Post-doctoral experience with the University of Washington’s athletics department and Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she provided athletics counseling in addition to neuropsychological and LD/ADHD assessments. Dr. Nash’s interests include assessment (e.g. LD/ADHD assessment, neuropsychological assessment); research (e.g. evaluation of services, needs of the population); sport psychology; issues related to coping with ADHD; LGBTQIA concerns; and mindfulness and it’s utilization in various capacities.
