Kaki Tipler, LICSW

Ms. Kaki Tipler is a licensed clinical social worker. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and French studies from Sewanee: The University of the South and her Master of Social Work from The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from Bryn Mawr College. Prior to joining the team at Mental Health Services, Ms. Tipler worked as a Primary Therapist at The Renfrew Center of Bethesda in their Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and in their Outpatient setting. She has worked in mental health in other school settings, both at college and high school levels. Ms. Tipler’s areas of clinical interest and specialization include eating disorders (specifically around disordered eating, body image concerns, and over-exercise); sexual, emotional, and physical trauma; and anxiety.
