Accessing Counseling and Your First Meeting

We strive to make counseling as accessible as possible for students; therefore no appointment is necessary to make your first contact with one of our mental health counselors.

Fall 2020 Information

Please refer to our Services FAQ for more information about how COVID-19 has affected our operations for Fall 2020.

The first step to accessing counseling is to attend a free, brief and confidential consultation with a member of our counseling team. During your consultation with the counselor, you will discuss the problems you would like support with and create a plan of action to address your needs.

Consultations are being done through telehealth appointments business hours at this time due to COVID-19. There is no appointment necessary, just call during business hours 8:30-5pm Monday through Friday and 12-4pm Saturday and Sunday.

If you are in crisis and are in need of urgent support outside of business hours, you can access support by calling the CHC and will be directed to an on-call clinician.
